This layer summarizes good practices highlighted in a booklet of the Alpine Climate Board which supports the Alpine Climate Board's vision of climate-neutral and climate-resilient lifestyles. Building on the Alpine Climate Target System 2050 and its Action Plan 2.0, the good practices emphasize the need for local engagement and behavioural change alongside technical measures. The Alps’ unique context - its visible climate impacts, rich natural and human resources, and existing eco-conscious practices - offers both opportunities and challenges. The good practices explore how Alpine-specific factors influence mobility, consumption, housing, and leisure, and calls for inclusive, human-centred approaches to bridge the gap from knowledge to action.
