The Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics (NUTS) is a geocode standard for referencing the subdivisions of countries for statistical purposes. The standard is developed and regulated by the European Union, and thus only covers the member states of the EU.
This layer consists of all NUTS 3 units (small regions for specific diagnoses) that are entirely or partly within the perimeter of the Alpine Convention.
