+ The information or the document is freely available and can be accessed from the website www.atlas.alpconv.org or, if available, through the dedicated WMS function.

Abstract

The Nomenclature of Units for Territorial Statistics (NUTS) is a geocode standard for referencing the subdivisions of countries for statistical purposes. The standard is developed and regulated by the European Union, and thus only covers the member states of the EU.
