Abstract

This map is an output from the 9th Report on the state of the Alps and shows the universities locations and their number of students within the Alpine Convention perimeter. The locations were extracted from the OSM database for each country using the Overpass Query Wizard (tag: amenity=university). The results were cleaned and validated by desktop research and by feedback from the RSA 9 stakeholders. The latest number of students is based on information on university homepages.
