Title
RSA3 - Sustainable Rural Development and Innovation
Abstract

Around two thirds of the Alpine inhabitants live in towns, but decentralised infrastructure is also very well developed. Nowhere else is the relationship between towns and rural areas as close as in the Alps, and the development of both must be considered together accordingly. It would be a mistake to underestimate the wealth of resources and the knowledge of the people in rural areas. How to use this potential will be discussed in this report.
